| This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect some uneven lies. In addition, water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The undulating greens vary in size and shape, and three of the fairways are doglegs. This picturesque course blends in beautifully with the topography, featuring 100 year-old trees lining many of the fairways. Quail Creak meanders through both the front and back nines (the back nine was added in the early 60's, featuring the new concept of design, while the original nine was built in 1920). This club once hosted PGA Tour events from 1966 to 1972. Lee Trevino said, |
